Peter Cox
Managing Director

Peter has 20 years experience in civil construction in the industrial and commercial sectors in South Australia. Peter was senior project manager for Balderstone and then Macmahon Contractors managing projects to the value of around $100 million. In 1992 he relocated with Macmahon to Western Australia, from then to 2002 he held senior management positions including Construction Manager with Macmahon on many civil construction & earthworks projects. These projects covered a large scope in the mining industry from mine site infrastructure, rail construction, port construction, concrete supply and placement. Peter was instrumental in establishing Macmahon's first concrete supply batching plant and managed the concrete manufacturing division. Peter has also been responsible for many government projects including roads infrastructure, bridge & culvert construction.
In 2002 Peter was appointed General Manager of Civmec. Within this position Peter managed all Civmec operations and liaised largely with Civmec's 50% partners VDM Group.

In 2003 Peter became the Managing Director/shareholder of Concrete Logistics in which he was a founding member and has directed the company through its early years, with an outstanding continual growth. Peter's hands-on approach obtains proven results, and has set a firm foundation for the continual growth and improvement of Concrete Logistics into the future. Peter has taken Concrete Logistics from establishment to a turnover of $22 million.

Neill Davey
Financial Director

Neill joined Concrete Logistics in January 2007 as Finance Director/shareholder bringing with him more than 20 years experience in the finance industry.

As part of the Concrete Logistics management team, Neill has been an integral part of the implementation of numerous financial strategies and systems which has assisted Concrete Logistics to achieve a 300% growth over the past 5 years.

Jarrod Worme
Director

Jarrod joined Concrete Logistics in 2003 with 10 years experience as site supervisor in the civil construction industry in the North West of WA. Jarrod's initial position within the company was as Operations Manager.

In 2007, as part of the restructuring of Concrete Logistics, Jarrod became a director/shareholder of the company bringing his valuable skill set to the Concrete Logistics boardroom.

Chris Schilling
Concrete Operations Manager

Chris has extensive experience in the concrete and quarry industries in the North West of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Chris has spent 2 years in open cut mining as a shot firer. He then spent 10 Years managing road transport for haulage of Nickel ore and quarry operations. Prior to joining the Concrete Logistics team Chris spent 3 years in Darwin with Readymix managing their Northern Territory operations. Before Chris transfer to Darwin he had 10 years with Readymix as Area manager and Concrete Manager NW based in Karratha.

Dean Pattison
Karratha Concrete Tester / Lab Technician

In 1998 Dean commenced work with Testrite Laboratories in the field of Construction Materials Testing and Specialised Core Drilling, working on major projects including the Sydney Olympic Park at Homebush Bay, M5 Motorway Upgrade and the Sydney Eastern Distributor. From 2003 Dean was with Holcim (Formerly Readymix/Cemex), during this period Dean was responsible for Allocation of Concrete Testing, Trial Mixes and Laboratory work.

Since Joining Concrete Logistics early 2011 Dean has assisted the business with Technical Support and Concrete and Raw Materials Testing for the many major projects currently being performed. Dean has achieved his Cert 1V and Diploma of Laboratory Practices.

David Crowe
Port Hedland Batch Plant Manager

After David concluded his studies of Structural Engineering at University of NSW, he worked as a junior engineer at the Sydney Opera House. He moved to the Gold Coast and worked for Farley & Lewers, Hymix Qld and became Area Manager of Boral Qld. In 1996 David started Techcon Management and later Techcon Resources, specialising in mix design, colour oxide, raw material sourcing and Procurement. He managed an operation in China, to where he relocated, exporting Silca Fume and Oxide to Australia and also creating a wet cast paving operation for Changhou Packaging in Shanghai District.

David joined Concrete Logistics in 2010 where his abundant knowledge of raw materials, mix design, production and sales has been exemplified by the expansion and profitability of the concrete section of the Company.

George Lawton
Batcher, Pt Hedland

George originally began his working career as a contract shearer in New Zealand. A move to Australia enabled George to enter the earthmoving and transport industry in 1995. His tenacity to get the job done saw George quickly progress through the ranks to supervisor.

With a strong safety focus and an excellent knowledge of heavy machinery, George moved to the concrete industry in 2002. He joined Concrete Logistics in 2009 and his efforts have seen the annual production at the Pt Hedland batch plant double each year of his service. George provides the vital link between day-to-day clients and the senior managers of the company.

Garry Dick
Port Hedland Lab Technician

Gary has been involved in the concrete industry for more than thirty years. Initially commencing his career as a batcher dispatcher in Brisbane, he progressed through the industry holding numerous production and technical positions. By 1997 Garry had established a concrete consultancy service, providing expert technical services to both major and minor industry players, including Pioneer Concrete (now Hansons) on a $50 million wharf construction. In 2006 he was project manager for the $400 million water storage tanks in Kalgoorlie. Following the completion of this project Garry moved to Pioneer North Queensland as Technical Manager.

Garry joined Concrete Logistics  in 2010 and his wealth of technical knowledge and experience is fundamental to the continued growth and constant improvement policy of the company.
